There are really no words to accurately describe my gratitude for the McGowan Built team. I have built both custom and semi-custom homes many times, and NEVER have I had an experience that was as smooth, efficient and enjoyable as the home I just finished with John, Misti and Scott. John engaged with me very early to evaluate land options and manage my desire to not “overbuild”. He invested time looking at lots and answering my endless questions with zero guarantee that I was buying any land at all or using the McGowan Built team as my partner. McGowan Built served as my realtor to purchase the lot and the day I closed on my construction loan they started prepping it and 24 weeks later we were completely done. There was never a week where there was not something happening at the house! They patiently calmed my “Type A personality” fears regarding my spending or what wall color to choose (BTW…it turned out perfect lol) and willingly took on new challenges like creating a faux brick wall in my master bedroom with nothing more than a video I found on how to do it. Most importantly, I experienced more personal tragedy in the last six weeks of my build than I have ever endured in my life. Not only did they keep things going and shield me from as much of the day-to-day bustle as possible, but they truly cared about how I was feeling. They bring the word “partners” to life and are no longer just my builder…they are friends. I will forever choose the McGowan Built team to create my homes and am blessed to have crossed paths with this great team and to have had them in my corner these last few weeks!
